Entity Classification System

P.I.L.T. assigns all entities a Class based on observed characteristics, potential for harm, and difficulty of containment. Each class correlates to the level of expertise required for investigation and engagement.

Cases are allocated to investigators according to their Investigator Level, ensuring personnel are neither under-equipped nor unnecessarily exposed to high-risk phenomena.

This system provides a standardized framework for documenting, evaluating, and responding to anomalous activity while maintaining operational safety and continuity. Classifications are subject to reassessment as new information is obtained.

Classification Description Investigator Level
Biological Entities with a fully physical, earthly form. 1–2
Paranormal Entities lacking a stable physical manifestation. 2–3
Anomalous Entities originating from another dimension or from the Anomaly itself. 3–4
Esoteric Extreme-level entities whose existence poses catastrophic or uncontainable risks. 4
Theoretical Entities speculated to exist but never confirmed through evidence or encounter.
  • Investigator Level indicates the recommended minimum clearance and expertise required.
  • Cases may be reassigned if an entity exceeds the assigned investigator’s capability.
  • Classification is dynamic and may be updated as additional data is collected.
